Weekly Wonderings

As I said last week, I’ve decided that I’m going to try and do a weekly post about my past week instead of a daily one. There are a lot of the blogs that I follow which do this and I think my blog would benefit more from it rather than doing a daily post about the random thoughts that go through my head. I just hope that I find something to write about each week as in comparison to some I think my life is pretty boring… On a side note the name of the post is a work in progress so if you have any suggestions I would very much like to hear them. Thanks… Anywho, here goes…

This week has been all about downsizing. My OH watched a documentary that had been recommended to him by his brother called Minimalism: A Documentary about Important Things, and ever since he has been on a mission. At the time of writing this the only room that we have completely got through is our bedroom. The number f bags of rubbish that we have either sitting waiting to take to the charity shop or to the dump is unbelievable. Who knew you could gather up so much stuff.

The next room that we are tackling is Tom’s room. This is the big one because he likes to save EVERYTHING. He will not throw out a single thing. Because of this we’ve had to sneak into it during the day whenever he’s at school, so he can’t lift anything out of the bags that we put in. We’re not even half way through it and it’s already looking so much better. There were a few times though when I walked into the room that I had to walk straight back out again. I know they say things get worse and then BOOM everything’s sorted. I just can’t wait for it all the be done and dusted.

So much stuff!!!

We had a surprise trip to the cinema on Thursday to see Captain Marvel. My OH had been wanting to see if since it came out and it didn’t seem right not seeing it in the cinema as we have see Black Panther and we realised why when we came to pay at the kiosk. The tickets were fine as it was an earliy showing so it was at a lower rate but when added 2 Fanta and a Slush Puppy it jumped £10. I nearly had a heart attack. I’m just glad that I thought a little ahead and brought our own snacks so all we needed to get was the drinks.

The movie wasn’t too bad, but I don’t think I would rush back to see it at the cinema. I’ve wrote a little about what I thought of it in my movie post here. The one movie I am looking forward to and will definitely be seeing in the cinema is Avengers: End Game. I think though I’ll be sticking to our own snacks and drinks this time round.

Anyway folks, thanks for reading, I hope you like what you read and if you did please make sure to like, share, comment and if you have any suggestions, please don’t hesitate to gimme a shout! J x
