This week’s food went ok. I think I’m getting a wee bit too used to having my dinner set down to me though. I had to make my own a couple of times and I just ended up flaffing about and just making a sandwich or having a pot noodle. I just couldn’t decide what I actually wanted to eat.
Anyway, folks, these are some of the things I had for dinner…
Baked Potato, Vegan Coleslaw and Beans
Something I have not had in absolutely ages and it was so nice. Probably because I haven’t been able to find a good coleslaw until now. Especially one that is vegan for my OH. This one is made by Plant Kitchen range now available in M&S and is so nice.
Curry and Chips
OH made us a curry for tonight using a jar of sauce we had in the cupboard. I didn’t realise that we didn’t have any rice so it was had with chips instead. It was nice but just really wasn’t the same.
In honour of national pizza day, the OH decided to pull the bread maker down from its shelf to make his own pizza dough so that he and Tom could make their own pizzas. Something that they haven’t done in ages. On mine, I had some tomato-based sauce, Frys chicken style pieces, and loads and loads of peppers.
