W/c – 20/01/2019

Again this week I wasn’t sure whether I would be doing this post or not. I’ve been getting so tired in the evening when Tom goes to bed that I just ended up going myself. Half-way through the week though and with me being off on Thursday, I was determined to at least watch one with my OH. So, I headed to bed for an hour in the afternoon when I finished work just to make sure that I could stay awake. And then Tom has another sleepover on Friday night, this time with his other granny. So, it was movie galore…

Anyway, folks here are the movies I’ve watched this week… and sorry… main contain spoilers.

Scream (1996)

Sat down and was surprised to hear my OH had picked this classic to watch. Apparently, he had only seen the second one. Still as good as I remember and could still hold its own if released today and has put me in the mood to watch more 90s horror classics. Such a blast from the past. Nostalgia overload

My Rating – 4/5

Polar (2019)

A Netflix adaption from a graphic novel. Not as good as I thought it was going to be. So much violence which was not needed. There was one point where I thought I was going to be sick. Don’t think I will even consider watching it again.

My Rating – 2/5

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 (2013)

Sat and watched this with Tom (his choice). I still love it. It has all my sort of humour in it. “There’s a leek in the boat!”

My Rating – 5/5
