If any of you haven’t heard of it, Cody Cross is a type of crossword game where you are given clue and you have to get the answers. It is a free game which you can download from the Playstore on Android onto your phone or tablet. I’m not too sure if it’s available on the iPhone but I would be very surprised if it’s not.
The game itself, like I said, is a crossword type game… You are given clues and you have to get the answers. There are five ‘games’ on a level and you must complete all the games before you can move on to the next level. If you don’t know the answer you can just move onto the next clue and it will ‘spit’ out letters which may or may not help you with the answer you need. If you still can’t get the answer you can use coins you collect to get clues to help you along. Although, to regain those clues you have to watch advertisements to get them back. This isn’t as bad as it sounds as the advertisements usually only last 30 seconds and some of them let you skip halfway through.
I know I’m not that far into the game, but I can say that I honestly love it. It has taught me things I didn’t even know… like the original drummer for the Beatles was called Peter Best. Plus… it makes you realise just all the things you do know that you didn’t think you did.
I know I’ve only been playing the game on and off now for about 3 or 4 months but I’ve come to realise just how addictive it can be. My OH, and I would regularly sit and compare what level we are on and just how many clues we have used. I’ve also found it a good way of being able to spend time together. We have a number of occasions lay in bed on a Saturday morning trying to help each other out with answers.
All in all, I love this game and it would definitely get a 5 out of 5 from me.
Anyway, friends, thanks for reading, hope you liked what you read and if you did please make sure to like, share, comment and if you have any suggestions about posts you would like to read, etc, then please don’t hesitate to gimme a shout! J xxx
