This week has been a mixture of ups and downs. Having to work an evening shift and then a night shift in work to swap over from Halloween to Christmas, is something that that my body is not used to at all. Is so not used to it that I have broken out in cold sores which is not nice, and because I’m a picker and can’t seem to leave any scab alone for any length of time it makes them look ten times worse.
Tom has been off on his half-term holidays from school and if I’m honest I didn’t get to do any of the things I had planned to do with him, Partly because I was so tired from work and partly because time just seemed to get away from us and before we knew it it was Sunday and it was time to get things ready for school the next day. There was also a mix up at work with the wages so even if I wanted to do something with him I wouldn’t have had to money 😦 We did spend a couple of the days in front of the PC trying to get achievements on one of his games. I think we spent a good hour trying for the ‘No way, this is my Jam’ achievement on The Lego Movie game.
Anyway, folks here are my 7 photos for 7 days … happy snapping people!

Typical Tom. Looking through the Pokemon items in the Argos catalogue while playing Pokemon on his phone. I think he’s even wearing one if his many Pokemon t-shirts.

This is an image my OH sent me through at 2am while I was on a night shift at work. He and Tom apparently sat up to 3am watching movies! Well seen it’s the half term holidays. Just look at the eyes on him! Is it any wonder he spelt into around 12 the next day.

Going to bed as soon as I came in from work at 9 am I woke up around 1pm to Ger laying beside me like this. We seem to have this wee routine when I finish work and have a little nap together. She ends up in some of the weirdest positions sometimes

Getting an extra day off this week because of the hours I did on Wednesday/Thursday I thought I would make the most of it… I completely dunged out our Tupperware and saucepan cupboard!… This was a good day!

Being the weekend before Tom goes back to school and realising that we hadn’t really done anything with him, what with work and the like I thought I would spend the day getting some achievements on games that he hasn’t completed yet. So, with my phone at my side with google search open so that we could look up where to find everything we needed. The first game on the agenda, The Lego Movie.

I have always loved Simon’s Cat. If you haven’t seen or heard of it then please get onto YouTube and watch it now. Especially if you are a fan of cats. Some of the videos will have you rolling on the floor with laughter. When my OH presented me with a Simon’s cat of my own that he 3D printed I couldn’t wait to get the paints out. Its not the best paint job in the world but it’ll do for me.
Anyway, friends, thanks for reading, hope you liked what you read and if you did please make sure to like, comment and if you have any suggestions please don’t hesitate to gimme a shout! J xxx
